Assembly

Stuff the egg yolk into the shell. Attach the hands and legs to the egg.

You can choose whether or not to sew the shell onto the body. I attach a yellow strand to the top of the head and thread it through the shell so I can always adjust the shell however I want. It looks like Gudetama just popped out from it too.

Use black yarn to sew the eyes.
You can choose black and white felt to cut out a mouth.
Alternatively, you can crochet using yarn as follows:

Mouth

Use thin white yarn or embroidery floss.
Round 1: Ch 5.
Round 2: Sc 1 in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across. [4 sts]
Fasten off. Sew or glue the mouth onto the egg.
Then use thin black yarn or embroidery floss to sew or glue a border around the mouth.

Tada! That’s it. Now you got yourself a lazy egg 🙂
